Son leaves Tottenham after ten years: "The most difficult decision of my career."
It's the end of an era at Tottenham . Son Heung-min , South Korean striker and Spurs captain, has announced his departure from the club after 10 seasons. "I have decided to leave the club this summer," Son said in a press conference on the eve of the friendly against Newcastle in Seoul.

Having joined Tottenham in 2015 from Bayer Leverkusen, Son, 33, has played over 450 games for the club, scoring 173 goals. He has won just one trophy, the Europa League victory last May against Manchester United. “It was the hardest decision of my career. I've had some truly incredible memories,” Son said. “I need a change, ten years is a long time. I arrived in North London as a boy, 23 years old. I'm leaving this club a man, a very proud man.” Son is expected to continue his career in the United States with Los Angeles FC .
